Creating the user in NETWEAVER (EP)

To create the user in SAP AS-JAVA system enter the below http link in browser.

http://<host_name> : 5<instance_number>00/index.html

or

https://<host_name> : 5<instance_number>01/index.html    

below screen will be open.

Go with "user Management" in the above screen and login with  your credentials.

To create user enter user name and use "Create  User" .
To copy a new user form existing user use"copy to new user".
To delete the user go with "Delete".
Lock or unlock user export and reset user password can be done in this "user management".

How to create a user in SAP ?

Goto SU01 transaction in SAP as shown below.

Enter the name of the user to be created in the text box and click on create icon

Provide Title, Lastname and Language details as shown above and move to Logon data tab.

Please note, lastname is mandatory field in this tab.

Please provide User type and initial password details in this tab and click on save button to create the user.

A status message similar to below screen will appear in the status bar, if the user got created successfully.
