You can set the SAP to default client login via parameter "login/system_client" means every time when you are going to login in SAP you will find 100 as client as shown in below image
This can be done using transaction code RZ10 . As an example, you can set the parameter to client 100 in transaction code RZ10. A restart is needed to make the changes activated.

Deleting a Client

• From the SAP login screen, login as any super user in any existing client (which you want to delete)

• Access the menu path Tools -> Administration -> Client admin.-> Special functions -> Delete client. Alternately run transaction SCC5.

• In the resulting screen select the option ‘Delete from T000’ and click on ‘Online’ pushbutton in order to run the client delete in the foreground. Alternately administrator can also run this in the background by clicking the pushbutton ‘Background’
Let us first understand what a client is before we move on to SAP client administration.

A client is defined as a self-contained commercial, organizational, and technical unit within an SAP System. This means that all business data within a client is protected from other clients. Each client has its own customer data, which can be considered as the exclusive property of this client.
However, the SAP System offers a system solution that is implemented for all clients in a central repository and cross-client tables (central data source).
As far as data administration is concerned, a multiple client option means that the data required for operating the system is well-defined and assigned either to central data or customer data. The following basic guidelines apply:

  • Only the assigned client can read or write to customer data, and in occasional cases (troubleshooting, background job administration, or change management) the provider. Customers can never read or write to the data of another customer.
  • All clients can read the centrally stored data, however, only the provider can make changes, not any of the clients (end customers).

Advantages of Client Concept

Client concept comes in with the following advantages −
  • You can share the same resources between multiple users.
  • You can manage SAP system landscape as you can create multiple clients for DEV, QA and PROD team.
  • You can share your SAP system with a large number of users.
  • You can create clients in SAP system from 000-999.
SAP system comes with the following three standard clients −
000 Client − This is called master client and is available when you install R/3 system.
001 Client − This client is a copy of 000 client including the test company. This client is used to create new clients normally.
066 Client − This is called SAP Early watch and is used for diagnostic scans and monitoring service in SAP system.
Client Concept

R/3 data can be divided into two categories:
  • Client-Specific data is data affecting only one client, such as user master data and application data.
  • Cross-client data is data affecting the whole system environment, such as cross-client customizing data and Repository objects.
